Shipping

We want your artwork to arrive exactly as it leaves our gallery: perfectly protected. Every piece is packed individually, tailored to size, material, framing, and destination. All shipments are sent fully insured.

Packing & shipping by region

Germany

• Unframed works: shipped flat between rigid, acid-free boards or rolled in professional art tubes.
• Framed works: multi-layer protection with corner guards and reinforced cartons; large formats can be crated.

European Union

• Unframed works: same standards as domestic shipping, with additional protection for longer transit.
• Framed works: reinforced EU transport packaging; sensitive frames may require a specialty crate.

Outside the EU

• Unframed works: export-grade reinforced flat packing or rolled tubes, weather-resistant outer wrap.
• Framed works: depending on size and destination, shipped in export cartons or custom wooden crates with internal fixation.

Customs & country-specific regulations

For deliveries outside the EU, import duties, VAT, or handling fees may apply in the destination country. These charges are borne by the recipient and are not included in our shipping fees. We provide all required export and customs documents to ensure smooth clearance.

Insurance

All shipments are insured in transit. Coverage is based on the declared artwork value and is included in the shipping fee unless agreed otherwise. Additional insurance can be arranged for high-value international deliveries.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs are calculated transparently and individually. They include professional packing, transport (depending on region and size), and insurance. For shipments outside the EU, export handling may be added where applicable.
